An invitation to an extraordinary meeting from Mahmoud Abbas

The Executive Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization held an extraordinary meeting to discuss the latest developments.

Palestinian President Abbas said during the meeting, “I call on the leaders of the Arab countries to stop the brutal attacks against the Palestinian people and their cause, to confront regional and international challenges, and to do everything necessary to ensure the survival of the Palestinian people.” Remaining in their lands, and ending the occupation of the lands of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Abbas said: “Our people in Gaza are being subjected to genocide and massacres at the hands of Israeli forces in front of the eyes of the whole world.”

“How can we silence the killing of children?”

Abbas said that they made every effort to stop the attacks from the first moment and communicated extensively with world leaders. He said that despite the draft resolution of the United Nations General Assembly calling for an “immediate, permanent and lasting humanitarian ceasefire and cessation of hostilities” in Gaza, he noted Until Israeli forces launched ground attacks and heavily bombed Gaza.

Abbas said: “How can we remain silent in the face of the killing of more than 3,000 Palestinian children? How do we remain silent in the face of the bombing of hospitals? How can we remain silent in the face of this brutal destruction and collective punishment of civilians? He said.

A call to “pressure on Israel”

Abbas called on “all countries of the world to put pressure on Israel to stop shedding the blood of the Palestinian people.” He also called on the Palestinian people to stand on their land and stand in solidarity against the war waged by Israeli forces against the Palestinian people. Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, and called for struggle against deportation and the new Nakba.

“Jerusalem will be our eternal capital.”

Abbas, who committed to rebuilding everything Israel destroyed in Gaza, said:
