Edwards is having the best season of his young career, averaging 26.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. He became a leader for the Timberwolves at a young age and was destined to become their signature player. Edwards even showed his competitive DNA during a brief playoff run, much like Jordan.
Although the Timberwolves were eliminated in the first round in each of the past two playoffs, Edwards performed well in both series. He averaged a whopping 28.1 points per game in the playoffs, showing he can perform well under pressure.
