During an interview with Wrapper held before the actors’ strike, Anthony Mackie was talking about Captain America 4filming wrapped a few weeks ago.
“In my experience with Marvel, it closed the circle because we filmed it in (Washington), DC, the same hotel where we filmed (Captain America) The Winter Soldier.
— explained the actor.Then he added:
In one of my first Marvel scenes, I was sitting at a table talking to a senator, and me, Chris (Evans) and Scarlett (Johansson) were kidnapping him. We returned to the same hotel and toured the same area. In that sense, it was really touching to think about my character’s journey and see where he is after 10 years in the MCU.
Captain America: Brave New World will be the fourth film of the fifth phase and will be released July 26, 2024then will follow Thunderbolts. Director Julius Ona scripted by the creator Falcon and Winter Soldier Malcolm Spellman in collaboration with Dalan Musson.
In the cast, in addition to Anthony Mackie, we find Tim Blake Nelson, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Xosha Rockmore, Carl Lumbly and Shira Haas. Liv Tyler is back as Betty Ross.
