Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Featured in First Teaser Trailer!

DC Studios released first teaser trailer For Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom directors James Wan. The teaser says that the full trailer will be released on Thursday, but despite the less than encouraging news about the film, the 30 seconds of footage we see in this trailer are quite interesting.

As we all know, the short footage that makes up a trailer can be deceiving. The test screenings for this movie were terrible, but there were reshoots to fix the problems, so we’ll just have to wait and see how the movie turns out.

The film’s synopsis reads:

Having failed to defeat Aquaman the first time, Black Manta, still driven by the need to avenge his father’s death, will stop at nothing to defeat Aquaman once and for all. This time, Black Manta is more formidable than ever and wields the power of the mythical Black Trident, which unleashes an ancient and sinister power. To defeat him, Aquaman will turn to his imprisoned brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to forge an unlikely alliance. Together, they must put aside their differences to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman’s family and the world from irreversible destruction.

Jason Momoa plays Aquaman in the film, and he is joined by Patrick Wilson as Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanta, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus and Randall Park as Doctor Stephen Sheen.

Warner Bros. will release the film in theaters on December 20, but below, with the teaser trailer, you can already get your first look at Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom:
