Triple protection
The vaccine used is the trivalent vaccine, known as Seja, which combines three types of virus strains and protects against the main strains circulating in Brazil: influenza A (H1N1), influenza A (H3N2) and influenza B. Produced by the Instituto Butantan, the vaccine is effective in helping to reduce the risk of complications and death caused by these three respiratory viruses.
The vaccine also helps protect those most vulnerable to severe influenza-related illness, such as severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and decompensation of pre-existing conditions, which can lead to death.

Vaccines are available from the second to the sixth hour in all UBS (Basic Health Units) in Araguaina. UBS Araguaína Sul, UBS Setor Couto (Albeny Soares), UBS do Bairro de Fátima and UBS Dr. Francisco (Vila Aliança) are open from 7 am to 7 pm. Our service hours are 7:30am to 11:30am and 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
