Archangel

Austin Agustin Santos, an American singer known under the pseudonym Arcangel, was born in New York to parents originally from the Dominican Republic (his mother was part of the group Las Chicas del Can in the 80s and 90s ).

In 2002 Arcangel moved to Puerto Rico to follow his passion for reggaeton and Latin pop music in general and in 2004 he founded together with Rafael Castillo, Duo Arcangel and De La Ghetto, with whom he included in the reggaeton compilation Recorded songs to be had. In 2006 they recorded together the song Ven y Peget, which was included in the compilation, Sangre Nueva, hosted by Hector “El Father”: a very popular song that brought him much notoriety.
