Recently, O’Neal revealed the news on his Instagram. He posted a video on his Instagram Story that included prominent figures from the world of sports, entertainment and other fields who are associated with one of the oldest fraternities, Omega Psi Phi.

Many familiar names appear in the video. Some of the names include Rickey Smiley, Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner, Terrence J, Jesse Jackson, George Clinton, etc. Among them are Jordan and O’Neal’s names.
However, do these two NBA giants belong to the same fraternity? The answer is yes. A quick look at the fraternity records proves that the two men are indeed members of the same fraternity. Their names were added to the list of athletes. Former basketball player and analyst Vince Carter is also a member of the fraternity.

As one of the oldest fraternities, Omega Psi Phi has earned O’Neal’s admiration for its rich tradition. Deep friendships and dedicated community service resonated strongly with him.
