There Arezzo Wave Italy Foundation has reopened enrollment for2023 edition of theArezzo Wave Music Contestone of the most attended competitions in Italy, which this year reaches its 36th edition.

The contest for the 2023 edition establishes two new categories, one dedicated to 50 years of Bruce Springsteen and one dedicated tohip-hop.
“50 Years of Bruce Springsteen” celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Boss’s first album “Greetings from Asbury Park” and invites participants to adapt or reinterpret a piece from the repertoire of an artist who has made the history of music.
“HIP-HOP WAVE” is dedicated to all those who are under 25 and who can create a cover for the first 50 years since the birth of hip hop culturewhen the first party with DJ Cool Herk was held in the Bronx.
Also among this year’s jurors Sat Bisla founder of the A&R Worldwide agency (Adele, Coldplay, Muse, Katy Perry) and organizer of one of the largest American showcase festivals, the Musexpo in Los Angeles where the bands and artists chosen by him among the finalists of the ArezzoWave Contest will be able to play.

Literary competition: Arezzo Wave Word Contest — Music and Life
Not only music at Arezzo Wave, in fact, the first edition of the Literary Competition Arezzo Wave Word Contest — Music and Life.
To participate it is necessary to write a story starting from this incipit specially created by the writer Marco Vichi: “For her/him music was everything, it couldn’t end like this…”.
The story must have a maximum length of 9,000 characters spaces included.
You must be of legal age to participate in the contest. registration is free until April 25, any participant can submit a single unpublished storyin Italian language.
The Jury that will evaluate the stories is composed of journalists, writers, readers and is presided over by the writer Marco Vichi, with Mauro Valenti Founder Arezzo Wave, Renata Provost Writer, Luca Ralli illustrator and Francesco Bevivino publisher.
The reading of the stories, for the selection and choice of the finalists, will take place withinthe 30th of June. The communication of the selected stories will take place on September 5th.
The awards evening will take place on 6 October in Arezzo. It is necessary to participate send the unpublished story by and no later than April 25ththe completed application form and a short biography (maximum 800 characters).
The stories that have obtained the best ratings will be published in an anthology in e-book format by 20 September.

Arezzo Wave Music School 2023: the Minister praises the project
There Provincial Council for Students, in collaboration with the provincial school office and the Arezzo Wave Foundationorganize by the students of the schools of Arezzo and Province the opportunity to participate in the Music School Contest, where you can put your musical artistic skills and interests into practice.
