Armed attack in the United States of America: 22 people killed and many injured

An unknown suspect opened fire on people in three different areas in the city of Lewiston, Maine. According to preliminary results, 22 people lost their lives and many were injured as a result of the armed attack.

The suspect, who fled after the armed attack, is wanted everywhere. In security camera footage, the suspect wearing a brown coat and black pants is seen targeting people with a long-barreled gun in his hand.

Police are trying to find the gunman. In Lewiston, the state’s second-largest city, people were urged to stay home.

The city police indicated that the armed attacks were carried out in different areas of the city. A photo of the suspect was also distributed to the media for possible reports.

It is also reported that the person being pursued by the police is 40-year-old Robert Card. The White House also sent a message that President Joe Biden had been informed of the case.

Various sources reported that at least 50 people were injured in the accident, but this information has not become official. Maine State Police made a call on social media with the message: “Please stay home and lock the doors.”

Lewiston police noted they responded to emergency calls at a restaurant called Schemengees and a bowling alley called Sparetime Recreation.

The distance between these two places is 6.5 kilometers. Hospitals in the area were also alerted to a “mass shooting” incident.

Local police units distributed two photos of the suspected attacker through the media. In one of the distributed photos, a bearded man wearing a brown coat appears entering the building.

Schools were also closed in Lewiston, a city with a population of 38,000, on Thursday.
