As hepatitis C diagnosis and treatment continue to expand toward global elimination, we have a unique opportunity to address the potential emergence of drug-resistant hepatitis C by maximizing population-level outcomes and prevention and addressing the potential emergence of drug-resistant hepatitis C. - To outline the development and key aspects of an evolving comprehensive global action plan to prevent, monitor and respond to drug resistance in HIV, viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections.
