Atari Returns to the Big Budget PC and Console Games Market

The once-great Atari has existed for a long time only thanks to the release of mobile projects and shareware games. During a recent meeting, the company’s management decided to take a new course in creating AAA-class projects. Under the new plan, Atari is set to return to the major PC and console game publishers’ market.

In the near future, Atari will partially reorganize its divisions to focus entirely on the release of big-budget games. The company is going to stop working in the field of TV programming and gambling. In addition, Atari wants to sell several shareware projects to fund the new strategy.

At the same time, Atari is not going to completely leave the mobile market. The company’s management promises to continue to release interesting mobile games as far as possible, as well as support its own Atari VCS console.

We will know very soon what the new strategy for Atari will bring. The first announcements of the games should take place before March 2022.
