Famous Puerto Rican Artist, bad bunnyreleased his new album on Friday, and in one of his songs, he declares Lionel Messi As the new “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time, English abbreviation), downgrade tom bradythe famous field marshal National Football League.
In the song “Candy B Returns,” Bad Bunny says: “Since Messi came to America, now everyone knows who the GOAT is. He’s not Tom Brady anymore.”
Messi arrived in the United States to great anticipation and enthusiasm, making his debut for Inter Miami in July. During his time at the club, Messi helped Inter Miami win their first League Cup silver medal and has scored 11 goals in all competitions so far.
However, a muscle injury kept him sidelined for four games, and Inter Miami ultimately failed to make the MLS playoffs in their first season in the American League.
Tom Brady is a seven-time Super Bowl champion, a three-time NFL Most Valuable Player (MVP) winner, and considered by many to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time in football.
Most recently, Brady entered Messi’s sporting world as co-owner of English Football Championship club Birmingham City.
But the reference to “Bad Bunny” doesn’t stop at Messi and Brady. The 29-year-old singer also paid tribute to legendary San Antonio Spurs basketball player Tim Duncan, mentioning the five championships he won with the team. “I’ve been in my prime like Tim Duncan for five years,” Bad Bunny said.
