The Puerto Rican star shared the news on his WhatsApp channel, where he has more than 12 million subscribers. “I don’t know if this will make you happy, but I’m going to release another song this year and it will be out before the end of September,” he previously shared in September. 20.
Finally, on Sunday afternoon (September 24), the artist, born Benito Martinez Ocasio, posted a 17-second clip on the channel and wrote in Spanish: “If you like it and are interested in knowing, (the song) is coming out. tomorrow Monday at 8 pm Puerto Rico time.”
The clip shows a blurry photo of the artist wearing a white T-shirt and blue baseball cap, as well as some audio. The untitled song begins with a dramatic organ synth melody and Bunny’s distinct vocals: “Baby I know that when I meet you, I want to fall in love…(“Baby, I know that when you dare, I will fall in love…”).
The upcoming track follows Bunny’s “Where She Goes,” which he released in May. The Jersey Club-inspired beat (a hybrid of house and hip-hop) reached number one on the Billboard Global 200 and Latin Airplay charts.
Earlier this year, Bunny also teamed up with Grupo Frontera for “un x100to,” which marked his first time dipping his toes into the norteño cumbia realm. The song gave Frontera its highest debut on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, peaking at No. 3 on the April 29 chart and later peaking at No. 1 on both the Latin Airplay and Billboard Global Excl. US chart.
