Barbie continues its inexorable run in the world box office. Greta Gerwig’s film just crossed a fatal milestone billion dollars garnered worldwide box office success, definitively establishing itself as the cinematic phenomenon of 2023.

One of the strengths of the film is undoubtedly the successful tandem of the main characters, played by Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, who give their faces to Barbie and Ken. Today, it seems frankly difficult to separate the flesh-and-blood version of the famous doll from the facial features of the beloved Australian star. However, it seems that first choice

production was different.

According to recent reports, the original plans for the film called for the presence of Gal Gadot, a former DCEU translator for Wonder Woman, as the blonde protagonist. However, the Israeli star had to withdraw due to a busy schedule of already established work commitments.
