The scene in question shows Barbie’s perfectly arched feet popping out of a pair of pink pom-pom heels, and despite being out of shoes and standing on the floor, they never lose their perfect arch — of course. Like barbie feet. a barbie doll. Now, Barbie star Margot Robbie has revealed how perfect the moment was and yes, those are her real feet.

Speaking with Fandango (via People), Robbie revealed that these are actually her feet, and it only took a matter of time to get Barbie doll’s perfect foot arch.

Robbie said, “It probably took about eight takes, not that many.”

“They’re my feet,” she continued. “I went inside, there were sticky pieces like double-sided tape for shoes on the floor so they wouldn’t come off and I could take off my feet. I held a bar, but nothing more. I didn’t have a harness or anything.”

Robbie also revealed that she prefers to be authentic when it comes to her work, which is why she took shots at her feet.

“I always try to make my own inserts. I don’t like it when I watch a film and know it’s not in my hands,” she said. “I hate him so much. I always say to the director, ‘Please show me my stuff.’ I don’t like knowing that I didn’t make them.”

“I thought, ‘Greta, how are we going to include this song? We can’t make a Barbie movie and nod to Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’. It has to be here.” And (Greta) told me, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll find a good way to incorporate it,'” Robbie told Rolling Stone.

Robbie continued: “And then when he said to me: ‘Guess who’s doing the remix of Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’? Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice.” I thought, ‘Together? are you kidding?! I knew immediately that all my friends would lose their minds.”
