Barbie this is definitely the film that, more than any other, celebrates this tumultuous cinematic summer. The success of the film with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling does not seem to show signs of slowing down, building up more and more impressive numbers. In fact, the film grossed an impressive $775 million a year. world box officeconfirming the trend in our country as well, compared to the 20 million achieved so far.
In short, the film undoubtedly dominates the box office in every corner of the globe; however, many are already wondering when the film directed by Greta Gerwig will be available on streaming platformsallowing the public to enjoy it again.
In the past few hours, the CEO of Warner Bros. has taken care of clarifying the issue. Discovery David Zaslav, who confirmed the streaming of the film during a meeting with investors next fall:
We strongly believe in window programming in the theatre. Let everything take its course. (…) As far as Max is concerned, he will certainly make a big impact in the fall.
If it is not possible to suggest an official release date at this point, then it is safe to expect the film to air between September and Octoberwhen he completed his already triumphant run on the big screen.
The film was directed by Greta Gerwigformer director Lady Bird (2017) e Small woman (2019). Gerwig also co-wrote the screenplay with her husband and acclaimed director Noah Baumbach.
The film’s cast includes a variety of names, including Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Connor Swindells, Nicholas Coughlan, Emerald Fennell, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, America Ferrara, Kingsley Ben Adir, Rhea Perlman, Sharon Rooney, Ana Cruz Kane, Ritu Arya, Jamie Demetriou, Emma McKee, Dua Lipa, Issa Ray, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Sim Liu, Scott Evans, John Cena AND Nkuti Gatwa.
