Bella Poarch revealed the reason she and her secret ex-husband split in a tearful episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, almost a year after their split was revealed.

Bella Poarch is one of TikTok’s most popular creators, best known for creating one of the platform’s most popular videos of all time.

On top of that, Poarch has also ventured into the music business and is now an up-and-coming artist with two EPs under her belt, as well as several music videos featuring other influencers.

Although Poarch is a hugely popular online superstar, she’s kept quiet about her personal life… so it came as a complete shock to fans when TMZ reported that she had divorced her husband in 2022.

Poarch never even mentioned that she was married, leaving fans stunned and some quite upset by the revelation. In fact, the reaction from some listeners was so hostile that she decided to take an extended break from social media as a result.

In 2023, she returned to making music, most recently releasing her latest song, Crush, in September.

Now, nearly a year after her divorce, Poarch opened up about her secret marriage and what led to her split from her husband in a candid interview with the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Poarch said she met her ex-husband while serving in the military. They got engaged just a few months after it became official, and Poarch called them both “introverts.” Moreover, she claims that she was her husband’s very first girlfriend.

However, Poarch says her rise to internet fame has caused problems in their relationship. She realized that she wanted to perform and be the center of attention, but her hubby did not want that lifestyle at all.

Ultimately, the issue ultimately led to their breakup, and Poarch broke down in tears as she tried to explain it during the podcast.

“Everything happened so quickly,” she admitted. “TikTok came along and he didn’t want to be the center of attention. I respect that though. It’s hard when I want to do music, like I want to be an artist, I want to share music, I want to create content. But when the person you love wants something else, it’s hard.”

Despite the split, Poarch claims they remain on “good terms”, claiming their divorce was a “mutual decision”.

She also responded to rumors that she cheated on her husband, saying the allegations were “not true” and “nothing like that happened.”

Although the situation has been difficult, Poarch has now returned to making music, leaving fans more eager than ever to hear what’s next from the up-and-coming artist.
