Beyoncé ushers in a new era: the collection with Balmain

Beyoncé would have closed a chapter, but is ready to open another. The pop star has started a precious collaboration with Balmain, signing the new collection of the maison, created by several hands and born on the notes of her latest album Renaissance.

Made together with the creative director of the maison Olivier Rousteing, the new collection can’t help but be extremely pop, like the soul of the singer. He was the creative director of the maison to announce the precious partnership with Beyoncé, born thanks to her latest album. Rousteing recounted having been strongly inspired from that last album of his and, on the notes of those songs, he designed some looks of the collection. The work lasted about five months, during which Beyoncé followed the creation of her new collection for Balmain step by step through meetings via Zoom, WhatsApp and hundreds of emails.
