Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, shows off Blue Ivy Carter’s glamorous makeup look

Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles admired granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter’s many skills after the 11-year-old gave her a glamorous makeover.

“Blue IV Carter, never ceases to amaze me, she can draw, she can do makeup, she can play the piano and the list goes on,” Tina wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

The “Mad Love” hitmaker’s mother called her granddaughter a “makeup guru” and “extraordinary” in a video posted to her social media.

“She’s been doing my makeup for years and I love it,” Tina shared.

However, the 69-year-old fashion designer wasn’t too sure about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s palette choice, noting that it was “perhaps too old for sparkle” on the eyes.

Even though Blue Ivy didn’t show her face in the video, you could hear a resounding “no” when Tina loudly asked about glitter during filming.

“But I like her makeup,” Tina added. “This is so amazing!!!”

In the caption, the Style of Destiny author also expressed her love for her youngest daughter, singer Solange Knowles.

“(Blue Ivy) reminds me so much of my talented little girl!” Tina wrote, adding that Solange could do “almost anything she put her mind to.”

Back in January, Tina shared a rare photo of herself and Blue Ivy on Instagram celebrating the little one’s 11th birthday.

“The day you were born was one of the best days of my life,” she captioned a photo of them both standing side by side on the beach.

“You can sing, dance, play basketball, play volleyball, draw, draw, sculpt, sew, write poetry, write songs, create, act, play the piano! I could go on and on. Because there’s really nothing you can’t do.”

Tina is also the proud grandmother of Beyoncé’s twins Sir and Rumi, now 5, and Solange’s 18-year-old son Daniel.

The businesswoman has been looking bubbly lately after news broke that she had filed for divorce from ex-husband Richard Lawson in July.

They were married for almost eight years and had a long-standing friendship before their romantic relationship. Tina was previously married to Matthew Knowles, with whom she shares Beyoncé and Solange.
