New fragrance from Billie Eilish It’s getting closer – and the aroma is simply unusual.
The 21-year-old singer-songwriter announced on Instagram on Thursday, September 28, that her third perfume, Eilish No. 3 will be released this November.
“Introducing Eilish #3! My first limited edition fragrance and the last in this collection,” she wrote alongside a photo of the perfume bottle, her red chrome bust, which features the same design as her first two launches.
The revelation has fans on social media wondering about the future of Eilish perfume. While some wondered if this could be her last perfume product, others speculated that it could be the last in this particular collection, with more collections to come in the future.
Eilish No. 1 launched in 2021 and features notes of candied petals, creamy vanilla and musk. Eilish No. fragrance 2, released in 2022, has notes of apple blossom, wild poppy blossom and Palo Santo. However, Eilish’s latest scent seems to have the most interesting aroma profile.
In an interview with Charm magazine, published Thursday, Eilish commented on the unique metallic scent.
“I love that it reminds me of metal,” she told the publication. “If you combine Eilish #1 and #2, you get a sweeter, more romantic version.”
While official scent notes have not yet been released, Eilish’s emoji in her Instagram post as well as the dark red packaging suggest that Eilish No. 3 will also have a cherry scent.
Along with her third perfume, fans are eagerly awaiting her third album. Eilish temporarily delighted fans with a viral ballad she wrote with her brother. FinneasFor Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie film “What Was I Created For?”
In his interview with the publication CharmEilish spoke about the process of writing a heartfelt song. “It’s like this song has been a tiny creature inside me for years, scratching me from the inside,” she said.
Reflecting on the song’s genesis, Eilish admitted that she and Finneas “couldn’t have been less inspired or less creative” when they started writing. “We were doing something that day and we thought, ‘We’ve lost this.’ Why are we even doing this?,” she said. “And then the first chords sounded, and the phrase “I used to float / now I’m just falling” appeared, and the song came together. I have a full video of us writing the song, and the first thing we wrote were the lines in the first 10 minutes.”
Eilish continued: “We wrote most of the song not thinking about ourselves and our lives, but thinking about this character that inspired us. A couple of days passed and I realized that this was about me. That’s all I feel. And it’s not just me—everyone feels this way over time.”
