The singer took it out on those who sold her after a more feminine look: «I can be both, fucking idiots. Femininity doesn’t mean being weak. Mad isn’t it?”
Yesterday Billie Eilish published a series of stories on Instagram against her haters, whom she called “true idiots” and who criticize her femininity and the way she looks.
“I completely destroyed the first five years of my career being masculine and dressing like I always do,” the singer wrote in the first of four stories. “You’ve told me over and over again that I would be sexier if I had behaved like a lady.”
“And now that I’m even remotely too comfortable wearing feminine clothes, you tell me I’ve changed and I’m marketable…’What happened to him’, oh my god, he’s not the same Billy anymore, this Like everyone else, blah blah… you really are stupid. LOL. I can be both, you fucking jerk. Leave the ladies alone!”
Billy then continued: “A funny anecdote: Did you know that women are versatile? Shocking right? Believe it or not but women can be interested in many different things. Plus that femininity doesn’t mean weak.” Doesn’t have to be!!! Oh my god?! Crazy, isn’t it?? Who would have thought??”.
The artist’s outburst ultimately culminated in a tongue-out at the haters and a text that left little room for interpretation: “Suck my dick”.
