Billie Eilish sang live the song “Happier Than Ever”

“No Time To Die” is literally the most anticipated film in the James Bond series. After an 18-month postponement caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Daniel Craig finally says goodbye to the role that has become his second identity in the last 16 years. The preview of the film takes place on September 28, at the Royal Albert Hall, and will run on September 30 in all cinemas in the UK. In Romania, the film has its preview scheduled for September 30, and the premiere for October 1.

Until this official release, we extract some ideas about the script of the film from the song composed by Finneas and Billie Eilish, also entitled “No Time To Die”. The song appeared more than a year and a half ago, but certain aspects were not highlighted then, out of the desire to keep “under lock” the final outcome of agent 007.

According to an interview published by the BBC on the day of the preview, the lyrics written by Billie and Finneas refer to a betrayal with two edges, which has a direct reference to the relationship between James Bond and Madeleine Swann.

“I think that’s a correct assumption (that the lyrics are about James Bond and Madeleine Swann), but I don’t know if we’re actually allowed to reveal anything!” Finneas said, adding that Billie was not allowed to say anything – but in trailer something is happening, and this is obvious. Someone is betrayed and someone else is betraying … “

In the lyrics of the song, Billie sings “Was it obvious to everybody else?” (translation: “Was it obvious to everyone?”). Speculating on the idea that such statements are made at the end of a relationship, when everything becomes much clearer, Billie and Finneas were asked if this is what the play is trying to suggest: that James Bond and Madeleine Swann are breaking up.

“It’s like everyone says: love is blind. You go blind. Really. Any alarm goes away, all your senses go away,” Billie said, without confirming or denying what the BBC reporter had found.

Put together, all these clues draw a tangled story, with possible upheavals, all in line with the typical suspense of a James Bond movie. Below you can watch the final trailer and draw your own conclusions.

TRAILER: “No Time To Die”

The film “No Time To Die” is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli after a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Cary Joji Fukunaga and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Rami Malek plays the role of the antagonist, being the last negative character that puts Daniel Craig in difficulty.
