The BET Awards were held on June 25, 2023 in Los Angeles. Awards instituted in 2001 From Black Entertainment Television, To celebrate African American excellence in music, film, television, sports and various entertainment fields. The weekend began with the International Nominee Welcome Party on 23 June.
Drake led the BET nominations chart by receiving an impressive 7, Album of the Year is also included. It is followed by Glorilla with six nominations, Lizzo with 5 nominations, and Savage with 21.
Nominees also include some of the biggest names in the music and film industries: Beyoncé, who has the most BET awards ever won in the show’s history, Cardi B, Flo, SZA, Ice Spice, Kendrick Lamar. Not only the awards, but also the highly anticipated performances by Letto, Lil Uzi Vert, Coco Jones, Tyga, Soulja Boy, among others during the ceremony.
