The premiere of the mini-series “The Book of Boba Fett” will take place only in December this year, but the famous bounty hunter may return to television screens much earlier than planned. Based on the thoughts of Brad Rau, the chief director of the animated action film Star Wars: The Bad Batch, the iconic anti-hero has a good chance of appearing in the aforementioned Disney + animated series. During a conversation with Screen Rant, Rau left a rather cryptic comment:
Let’s just say that this timeline definitely takes into account the fact that Boba Fett is alive. It’s true.
Produced by Lucasfilm Executive Creative Director Dave Filoni in collaboration with Jennifer Corbett, the animated series is a direct sequel to The Clone Wars, and follows the further adventures of a team of elite war lances whose genetic deviations have given them unique skills. Called the “Defective Party”, the group is trying to find its place in a galaxy far, far away.
Fett made his franchise debut in the Star Wars holiday edition before appearing in episodes five and six, as well as George Lucas’ prequels and the animated series. The full-fledged hero of Temuera Morrison returned to the screens in the second season of The Mandalorian.
