“Bones and all” and Luca Guadagnino in the Sacred Forest of Bomarzo

The event, organized by Tuscia Film Fest in collaboration with Sacro Bosco, is included in the program of the In Arte Vicino festival, organized on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the birth of the creator of the park.

Tickets for the special screening and meeting can be purchased at the Tuscia Film Fest website, as well as at the Museo Colle del Duomo and Museo dei Portici in Viterbo.
If seats are not sold out, tickets can also be purchased on the day of the event at the box office of Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo.

In competition at the 79th Venice International Film Festival, where Taylor Russell won the Silver Lion for Best Director and the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Actor or Actress, Bones and Everything offers a love story as sublime as sweetness. is a dark and unsettling journey of two misfit young Americans in search of their identity, who share a ferocious and destructive appetite that alienates them from the rest of the world, despite their longing to find a place where they truly feel they belong. the house makes them run.

“This is the story of two young people,” says Luca Guadagnino, “who discover that there is no place for them to call home, so they have to reinvent it. Maren and Lee go in search of their identity in extreme situations, but the questions they ask themselves are universal: who am I, what do I want? How can I get rid of this sense of inevitability that I carry with me? How can they contact someone else?”

The protagonists of Timothée Chalamet’s film (Dune, The French Dispatcher, Wonka), launched by Guadagnino himself in Call Me by Your Name, for which he received, among other things, an Oscar nomination for Best Actor, – Rookies Taylor Russell and Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies, BFG – Great Gentle Giant, Don’t Look Up).

Luca Guadagnino, the guest of honor of the evening, was born in Palermo on August 10, 1971.
He is the writer, director, and producer of several critically and commercially acclaimed films, including I Am Love, Big Splash, Call Me By Your Name, and Suspiria.
It has won or been nominated for numerous awards, including the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival, the BAFTA Award for Best Director, and the Silver Ribbon for Best Director.
He was President of the Jury of the Beirut International Film Festival (2011) and the 68th San Sebastian Film Festival.
His upcoming projects include The Pretenders and Queer, starring Daniel Craig, recently filmed at Cinecitta.

The In Arte Vicino festival was born from the idea of ​​Antonio Rocca, author of the radical reinterpretation of the Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo, who returns full responsibility for the project to Vicino Orsini. Lord Bomarzo translated into stone the map of the universe drawn up by the Christian cabalist Giulio Camillo in The Idea of ​​the Theater (1550). A project of a sacred character, which can still be seen today in the territory of the so-called Monster Park.

Entrance to the special screening will be allowed from 20:00, while the seats in the stalls of the arena installed on the territory of the Temple are not numbered and will be distributed in chronological order.
The rest of the places refer to the slope of the lawn in front of the screen; the organization will provide pillows and blankets, and personal towels will be allowed.

The Tuscia Film Festival is organized by the Association Cineclub del Genio di Viterbo in cooperation with the Italian Film Festival in Berlin.
