Booba: Is Kaaris responsible for the shooting on his music video? We have the answer!

A year after their violent brawl in Orly, a shooting had broken out on the set of a clip of Booba in Seine-Saint-Denis in the summer of 2019. The suspect, in this case, Kaaris has just been exonerated.

This January 5, the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office rendered its judgment in the case of the shooting which had disrupted the shooting of a clip of Booba in Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis) in August 2019. The case was dismissed, although the rapper suspected his great enemy Kaaris to be responsible.

Kaaris is not guilty

Not there at the time of the events, the Duke of Boulogne had denounced on social networks a dirty trick of “Armand!” Kaaris’s real name, in a post. Finally, justice estimated on Tuesday that “the shooting was not linked to any dispute between the rappers”, as reported by the Parisian.

That day, in an industrial area, the B2O team saw “five cars unloading, with individuals armed with baseball bats and handguns on board” our colleagues recall. They opened fire and hit Ibou, near Booba, with four 9mm bullets in the leg. The daily also reports that a “technician and a director had been hit by the projectiles”.

Suspect of an investigation for “attempted murder in an organized gang”, Kaaris was finally exonerated. His lawyer explained on leaving the court: “rumors only affect those who peddle them”.

What revives the tensions between the two men, who have time to collaborate and who are now enemy brothers. As a reminder, in 2018, after their fight at Paris Orly airport, which had seen the destruction of a Duty-Free, the two rappers were sentenced to twenty days in detention, then eighteen months in prison suspended and of 50,000 euros fine.

No octagon

And if they had for the project to settle their differences on an octagon of MMA, the two men finally failed to put on their big show. After months of provocation, the rapper from Sevran had finally canceled the match, in September 2019.
