Police are currently investigating an ex-girlfriend of Carvalho’s current boyfriend as a primary suspect, but no arrests have been made yet.
“We suspect her current partner’s ex is the main suspect,” Batista said. “We have evidence of her making threats and a photo of her holding a weapon with a threatening message against my sister.”
