Breaking Bad: Cast led by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul reunite during strike | TV

Cast breaking Bad AND Better call Saulled by Bryan Cranston, was the focus of a new meeting on the occasion of one of the pickets organized in honor of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Bryan Cranston, Jesse Plemons, Aaron Paul, Ree Seehorn, Betsy Brandt, Patrick Fabian, Charles Baker, Matt Jones, Norma Maldonado and screenwriter Peter Gould protested outside Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

Paul told Deadline:

It seems like this is just the beginning. It is important for everyone to know that we are not leaving… We are fighting for the right reasons. We act in solidarity with every member of the union, trying to make ends meet, put food on the table and do what we love.

Cranston added that the rise of streaming platforms has specific implications:

Traditional airtime is shrinking from year to year, and even if you make a show for broadcast, your balance will be reduced significantly. When we started in this industry a long time ago, we relied on balances to pay our bills. Part of the job equation was leftovers, international leftovers, DVD sales and the like. But all these things are gone. You are dehumanizing the work force.
