Britney Spears he gets into trouble with the law again for his driving, and this time after being pulled over by the California Highway Patrol.
The 41-year-old pop princess was previously arrested by the Highway Patrol for driving at an “unsafe speed” last year. Just over a year later, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer was pulled over and ticketed for driving without a license or insurance in her car.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the “Toxic” singer was caught by CHP and stopped for driving without a license and insurance in her car on September 10, 2023.
It’s unclear why the pop star was initially pulled over, but according to police, she was driving without a valid license and was charged with “failure to provide a peace officer with evidence of financial responsibility.”
Of course, this is not an arrestable offense, and the California Highway Patrol just issued her a $1,140 fine, which she must pay by October 24, 2023, which is also her court appearance date.
Ironically, that date, two weeks from now, is also the release date of her long-awaited memoir, The Woman in Me. Luckily, the pop star won’t have to physically appear in court that day.
We’re guessing Britney’s driver’s license is valid, she just didn’t have it in her car. Plus, the singer must have insurance, but it must be in the car while she is driving. Her lawyers will need to present evidence of both at the trial.
As The Blast previously reported in April 2022, the “Baby One More Time” singer was caught driving “at a speed unsafe for the prevailing conditions.” She was issued a fine on March 10, 2022, and had to appear in court on May 3 for her arraignment. The documents do not indicate how fast she was traveling or where she was stopped.
However, it was noted that she had been ticketed several times for speeding over the past few years. For example, in June 2019, she was also arrested by the Venture County Sheriff’s Department for driving at an “unsafe speed.” Although her driving privileges were suspended during her conservatorship, which lasted from February 2008 to November 2021, it seems Britney is happy to be back on the road, despite the charges she may face.
In September 2023, the same month as her latest driving violation, the “Girl in the Mirror” singer told her 42 million Instagram followers that she had recently bought a new car and found a new assistant amid her split from the actor. Sam Asgarifiled for divorce on August 16, 2023.
“I’m driving my new car with a new assistant!!!” she captioned the Instagram post, which was deleted hours later. The pop star often seemed to take refuge in her car and detailed how much she loved driving in another since-deleted Instagram post in 2022.
In December 2022, the “Womanizer” singer claimed that the “SWAT: Lioness” actor accused her of being “crazy” over her new love for meditation. “I’m now that meditation bitch 🧘🏼♀️… my husband hates it… he thinks I’m crazy. My masseuse always does this and he looks so peaceful… I’m like wow… that looks interesting,” she wrote at the time.
“Going inward… I say all this because I’m trying to make an effort to take care of myself,” she continued. “I usually forget to eat… I wait too long and I’m too sensitive, so if something goes wrong in the house it will be like the end of the world.”
“So yesterday I got in my car and cried… I cried so damn much but damn my car is my spaceship 🚀… that’s where my best interests, thoughts, creative impulses, ideas are, it’s spiritual… absolutely spiritual ” and we’re all on the road together,” she continued.
She went on to say, “So I don’t feel alone unless these big 18 wheelers come by and take over and I want to screw up… but it’s my time… my own inner thoughts.”
