BTS performed their hit “Permission To Dance” on the James Corden show. The K-pop band had an interesting staging with an animated background featuring graffiti-painted walls, balloons, and flashing lights.
This was the South Korean band’s first appearance on the famous show in nearly two years, which featured a video interview and recorded performances from “Life Goes On” and” Dynamite “ due to Covid-19.

On this occasion, Corden interviewed the group and talked about the backlash he had from BTS fans. The host had come under fire in September, when he referred to the performance at the UN Summit as “quite unusual” and described BTS fans as “15-year-old girls.”
“I hope you know this, we absolutely love you and we love all the fans,” he said. Corden. He also referred to how the “Army” can be a “true force for good”, noting that “they supported charities that I support and they are incredible.”
BTS was one of the biggest winners of the 2021 American Music Awards (AMA) that took place on Sunday. All seven members won the artist of the year award.
They also won in the categories Favorite pop duo or group and Favorite pop song by Butter. The band performed live “My Universe” with Coldplay.
BTS raised millions of dollars in a campaign with the United Nations
