Tom Brady is the legendary quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who led the team to win the Super Bowl in 2021. Since then, Brady has continued to have success on the football field, becoming one of the best passers in the NFL last season.
With Brady out, experts are predicting a surprising season for Baker Mayfield. The Buccaneers offensive coordinator’s recent comments praising the team’s quarterback room have given NFL fans a hint that some good things could be coming in 2023.
Brady himself joined on his “Let’s Go!” podcast with legendary sportswriter Jim Gray to talk about his thoughts on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, former teammates, and rooting for the team in the upcoming season. Rick Stroud shares on X.

“Is it possible for TB12 to get Ring of Honor?” one fan asked in response.
“Love that. It was a rough end to his tenure here but it’s nice to see him looking back on his time here positively,” said another fan.
Brady passed for nearly 90,000 yards and 649 touchdowns in his NFL career. He spent the final three seasons with the Buccaneers, during which he averaged nearly 5,000 yards per season playing for Bruce Arians and Todd Bowles.
With Brady retiring, the Buccaneers are expected to start Baker Mayfield. Kyle Trask is a former Heisman Trophy candidate with the Florida Gators and is expected to be the backup on Todd Bowles’ team this season. With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin back at wide receiver, a return to the playoffs isn’t out of the question. The Buccaneers face a tough situation, but with Brady cheering them on, they’re motivated to play better in 2023-24 and make things happen.
