Brad Pitt will return to action cinema with “Bullet Train”, a film directed by David Leitch (“Atomic”, “Deadpool 2”, “Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw”). Sony Pictures it is behind the film that has a large cast of stars and that already has a release date.
According to Collider, the action feature film will be released on April 8, 2022 “in IMAX theaters and other large premium formats.” Together with Pitt they complete the cast Aaron Taylor-JohnsonMichael Shannon, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada and Sandra Bullock. The publication also notes that Lady Gaga he will make a cameo appearance in the film. The film is based on the novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka and has a hyphen of Zak Olkewicz. “Five assassins aboard a bullet train discover that their missions have something in common,” reads the film’s synopsis.
Leitch is producer of “Bullet Train” along with Kelly McCormick and Antoine Fuqua, while Ryosuke Saegusa, Yuma Terada, Brent O’Connor and Kat Samick serve as executive producers.
