Caffè Concerto in the square, Sunday has a different face of music

Sunday morning with music Cafe Concert in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. The event is included in the September completion program of the Giovinazzo estate, a program launched by the municipal authorities.

Yesterday, September 10, Vito Della Valle from Pompeii and Francesco Giancaspro they performed late in the morning near two famous city cafes. The repertoire of both is a mixture of contemporary authors and world pop stars. First they performed songs by Ludovico Einaudi, Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, and then moved on to the notes most familiar to young audiences, such as Coldplay and Imagine Dragons.

Giancaspro, for his part, also invited Morricone and Coldplay to immerse himself in a fascinating and experimental journey between Lady Gaga, Queen and two outstanding composers of the 20th century and early 2000s, such as the French multi-instrumentalist Yann Tiersen and the unforgettable Ryuichi Sakamoto. , who died on March 28.
