Caitlyn Jenner he spoke about the pride of the American flag and his candidacy for Governor of California on Saturday in “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” noting that Californians can’t let it go. Governor Gavin Newsom Forget the “terrible job” he did running the state during the pandemic.
Jenner noted that in her life, the pride of America and the American flag changed, but still considers herself a patriot.
“I have seen over the years the deterioration of our flag, of our love for our country,” he said. “I still love our country. We certainly have problems, but I’m a patriot.”
Jenner referenced the Olympic hammer thrower Gwen Berry who walked away from the flag when the national anthem was played in the Olympic qualifiers last month, saying the actions bothered her but still believes in individual freedoms.
“I think people like that, who are going to disrespect our flag to make a political statement on social media, technically have the right to do so,” he said. “But they are also entitled to deserve the consequences that result from their actions.”
The problem, Jenner said, is that, in many cases, there aren’t enough consequences.
“Sometimes you become a big star because of things like that,” he said. “Like getting ads from Nike and things like that. It bothers me tremendously.”
“This waking world that we live in right now, honestly, I don’t know how we’re going to move forward. We have to move forward and be strong, we have to move forward with love of country, be patriots and that is very important to me,” he added.
Jenner also noted that Berry should not be allowed to make a political statement during the Olympics. “Stay there and be proud of what you’ve accomplished,” he said.
or California The gtorial candidate turned her attention to the impeachment of Gov. Gavin Newsom and noted that despite the increase in the governor’s approval rating, she still believes the state needs new leadership.
“California’s decline only accelerated under his rule,” Jenner said.
“Gavin Newsom is only interested in himself, he is only interested in maintaining his position. We have to keep up the pressure on him.”
Jenner said she believes her parents will be the driving force behind Newsom’s expulsion, given his actions during the coronavirus pandemic.
“I feel like the people who are really going to get him out of work are the mothers and fathers of the kids,” he said. “And this is the reason for the withdrawal. Because he did a terrible job of closing our schools last year. We can’t let it be forgotten.”
