Serena Williams’ former coach Rene Stubbs recently said she was surprised why anyone would think Donald Trump is the ideal leader for the United States.
Her comments came after Trump made controversial statements about President Joe Biden.
The former US president said in a speech at the California Republican Party on Friday (September 29):
“What they do is chase their opponents, so if you become president, or any other position, but if you become president and you don’t like someone, or if someone is ten, fifteen ahead of you or like we had with Dishonest Joe “What Biden did, twenty points, let’s prosecute this liar! Let’s prosecute him.”
Later, Stubbs retweeted a video of Trump’s speech on X (formerly Twitter) and commented:
“Can you imagine this being a great man leading a country? OMG! Honestly!!????”

during an episode “The Rene Stubbs Tennis Podcast” Stubbs praised Djokovic for beating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the final to win his 24th career Grand Slam title.
“When we talk about the end of the women’s championship and the men’s championship, it’s like we’re really knocking off the greatest player of all time, I mean, no matter what you think, he’s sealed the deal with Novak, no matter what Love him or hate him, this guy is unbelievable!” Stubbs said.
She further talked about how Djokovic has always performed better than younger players despite being 36 years old.
“At 36 years old, everyone thinks he looks tired, he looks out of breath,” Stubbs said. “He looked so angry in Cincinnati that, oh, he’s done, he’s too old, time has started to catch up with him. He likes to make these 20-, 25- and 27-year-old guys look like they’ve never been overworked. their whole lives.”
Stubbs coached 23-time Grand Slam winner Serena Williams during last year’s U.S. Open. The match marked the end of the legendary player’s career, as she retired after a third-round exit.
