Canadian actor Ryan Gosling will play the character Ken in “Barbie”, a film about the doll of the same name, in which the protagonist will be played by Margot Robbie, informs contactmusic.com.

Ryan Gosling, 40, is in advanced negotiations to star alongside 31-year-old Margot Robbie in a live-action film about the legendary Barbie doll, produced by Mattel, the journalists revealed from The Hollywood Reporter.

Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach wrote the screenplay for this film, which will be produced by Warner Bros. Studio. and directed by Greta Gerwig.

Ken was offered the role of actor Ryan Gosling this summer as well, but the Canadian star refused him then due to a very busy work schedule.

Due to the postponement of some filming, the actor will be able to accept this role.

Earlier, actress Margot Robbie said viewers will see “something completely different” from what is normally expected from a movie about the famous doll produced by the Mattel group.
