Cardi B gave her chic personal style a whimsical twist this week thanks to Loewe.
On Monday, the Grammy Award winner appeared in a new Instagram video post wearing the Spanish brand’s playful Toy shoes. Her $3,400 style, designed by Jonathan Anderson, featured an above-the-knee silhouette crafted from white leather; however, due to the shoe’s lightweight shape, the model instead moved downward to create dramatic texture.
The round-toe pair featured five-pocket pant-fly-like button closures on each side, as well as matching patent heels that totaled 3.5 inches in height.
Cardi B’s Loewe shoes served as a fitting base for her outfit for the occasion, which included a white bodysuit and Chrome Hearts minidress with a red center graphic and blue trim. The sleeveless model matched the rapper’s shoes, creating a monochrome look; similar techniques are used to create a streamlined silhouette by wearing the same or matching shades of the same color.
The “Bongos” rapper completed her ensemble with jewelry, pairing it with a diamond watch, chain necklace and small hoop earrings. The moment marked Cardi B’s final all-white outfit of the month; she was also named the new face of Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand Skims, starring in its latest campaign wearing a white crop top and matching shorts.
When it comes to footwear, Cardi B is known for her love of Christian Louboutin shoes, which she called “blood shoes” due to their signature red sole. Over the years, the rapper has also worn a variety of heels, boots, and mules from brands like Jimmy Choo, Jessica Rich, and Bottega Veneta. Cardi B also delved into the fashion world, collaborating with Reebok and Fashion Nova on several hit collections throughout the year.
