It will arrive in cinemas worldwide with an exclusive event. CARLOS, director’s documentary Rudy Valdez dedicated to the legendary guitarist and world icon Carlos Santana. The event, which celebrates the life and story of one of music’s greatest icons and winner of 10 Grammy Awards, will appear in theaters only September 25, 26 and 27 from “CARLOS: SANTANA’S JOURNEY. WORLD PREMIERE.” The screenings will be complemented by special introductory content, which will feature Santana himself and director Valdez, who has already received two Emmy awards (Verdict: We: Brooklyn Saints).
The premiere took place at the last Tribeca FestivalCARLOS compiles new interviews with Santana and his family, never-before-seen archival material including home videos recorded by the artist himself, concert footage, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews with music industry luminaries and collaborators including Clive Davis and Rob Thomas.
