Frappo 2022 is a rosé wine made from Frappato grapes, vinified in steel tanks. A carefree wine with aromas of orange blossom, small red fruits and balsamic and spicy undertones. In the mouth, the aroma of cherry candies is added, which is accompanied by a savory and long-lasting undertone, resulting in a fragrant and citrus aftertaste. Caruso and Minini are two families and two different stories that intertwine when Stefano, Francesco and Roberto Caruso, the third generation of winemakers, meet Mario and Francesco Minini, owners of a marketing company in Northern Italy. Together they found Caruso and Minini in Marsala. Today Stefano Caruso is joined by his two daughters Giovanna and Rosanna. An ancient baglio built in 1904 in the heart of the traditional winery district of Marsala, where the varieties of grapes produced in Giummarella and Cattaya converge, 120 hectares of vineyards located among the hills of the Trapani hinterland east of Marsala, at an altitude of 450 meters above the sea, are grown Grillo, Catarratto, Grecanico, Inzolia, Zibibbo, Nero d’Avola, Frappato, Perricone, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah and Merlot. And with an eye to the increasing attention to the environment, which the company pays not only to organic wines. In fact, the photovoltaic system is able to cover up to 65% of the energy needs of the basement.
