Chango Alfredo Moreno, former Boca Juniors forward, died at 41

Pain in Boca Juniors and in Argentine football: former striker Alfredo Moreno died at the age of 41 as a result of bowel cancer.

The soccer player born on August 1, 1980 in Santiago del Estero emerged in the Xeneize Inferiores, where he was consecrated in the CONMEBOL Libertadores in 2000 and 2003. With the blue and gold jersey he scored 18 goals in 38 games.

In Argentine soccer he also defended the Racing Club colors. After a brief stint at Shandong Luneng in China, he carried out the rest of his career in Mexico. He passed through Necaxa, San Luis, América, Atlas, Tijuana (champion in 2012), Puebla, Veracruz and Celaya, where he finished his career in 2018.
