Charli XCX will make her acting debut in Faces of Death

Singer Charli XCX will make her acting debut in Faces of Death, the remake of the 1978 cult film.

After Billie Eilish, another pop star of the last decade is also ready to make her debut as an actress on the screen: we are talking about Charli XCXwho will be featured in the cast of Faces of Death. However, his role has not yet been revealed.

Filming for the film is currently underway in New Orleans, with main cast members Barbie Ferreira (who previously worked on Euphoria) and Dacre Montgomery (of Stranger Things). So far Charli XCX has only worked as her voice for the Angry Birds Movie and Ugly Dolls movies, and appeared in one episode of the Gossip Girl reboot.

Faces of Death is taken from the 1978 film, known in Italy as Le Facce della morte, and it is a mokumentary, a fake documentary in which a doctor, during an open heart operation, tells about what the faces of the death. Films will thus be offered that focus on death sentences, slaughterhouses and sacrificial rites.

The new Faces of Death will be directed by Daniel Goldhaber and written by Isa Mazzei, who have already worked on the Netflix CAM production.
