On one occasion, however, he was unwilling to do business and inadvertently cost his former agent, David Falk, a large salary. It was during a run with Charlotte that this particular story happened. As Falk tells it, the NBA legend had to show up on a small scale for a large sum of money.

In about 2-3 hours, announcing trades and more, the six-time NBA champion will net $100 million. By default, given the 20% interest rate they agreed upon, this means $20,000 will go into David’s pocket.
However, the Chicago Bulls legend disagreed and the deal never came to fruition. Falk, however, doesn’t hold much ill will toward the decision. For him, this halo is earned. “God bless him. He’s so successful and it gives him the opportunity to do anything he wants to do, or not do anything he doesn’t want to do…I really admire that. “He was very, very selective about what he wanted to be involved in.”
