Chiavari Summer Dance Festival. The event, created to promote, disseminate and support the culture of dance, will return on Wednesday 19 July at the Palazzo dello Sport in Sampierdacken. The event is organized by a team formed by Rina Silotti, Grazia Tringale, Silvia Rocca and Michael Fascaldo, associate of the ASD – Chiavari Benacere Body Center, with the collaboration of the CSI and the sponsorship of the Chiavari Municipality.
4 days internship, 2 rooms with 70 lessons each, divided into Street and Dance Path with highly reputed teachers. Students coming from all over Italy will have the opportunity to study with internationally renowned masters such as Elena D’Amario, professional Italian dancer and choreographer of the television program Amici di Maria di Filippi, who will conduct a lesson accompanied by live music. for the occasion; Alex Atjevi, one of the most acclaimed dancers, choreographer and contemporary dance teacher in Italy and in the world and artistic director of Atjevi Dance Company; Spongy, dancer and choreographer for such notable international artists as R.Kelly, CB2K, CN’Sync, Sean Paul, Backstreetboys, Mariah Carey and Britney Spears; Amilcar Moret González is a principal dancer on many European stages, such as the Hamburg Ballet and the Zurich Ballet.

Different programs are set for each evening, beginning with the opening ceremony with a contemporary dance show by Atzevi Dance Company, directed by international choreographer Alex Atzevi with special guest Amilcar Moret Gonzalez.
The Chiavari Summer Dance Festival will end on Sunday 23 July with a competition of academic subjects. The jury consists of Alex Atjevi, Mario Glaze, Lise Marie Kulm, Monica Ratti, Anna Rita Largi. An international jury will be present for the Hip Hop Choreographic Competition and Battle Mixstyles consisting of Marthe VG from Holland, Frankeva from France and Rada from Italy.
