Origin (which is available on Netflix) is a sci-fi thriller that explores the essence of dreams and the importance free will. At the center of the story is Dominic, who is an extractor by profession and is dedicated to extracting secrets from people’s minds while they sleep, entering their dreams with a special device that allows the group to participate in a “shared dream”. It is during one of his missions that Dominic and his team are in danger of being trapped in the metaphysical world forever. Trying to outline the main concepts of the film is not easy because Origin there is a lot behind this key reading. A feature that, in fact, allowed the film to stand out and become the great classic of Nolan cinematography. He has won 4 Academy Awards, all in technical categories.
Interstellar
Arrived in theaters three years after the last chapter The Dark KnightNolan s Interstellar (available on Netflix) offers a sincere look at time travel and how difficult it is to play with the very essence of time and space. Difficult to use concepts, in fact, for this reason the film completely failed, as the director himself could not give a correct explanation of the concepts common in the film. Matthew McConaughey stars with Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine and centers on the story of a group of astronauts traveling across wormholes (black hole) in search of a new home for mankind, destroyed by a serious environmental crisis. Between non-chronicity and social condemnation, the director pushes the audience to the limits of the universe (and plausibility) inadventure bordering on the absurd which explains how difficult it is to harness the power of space and time for one’s own use and consumption. Nolan wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan and it was completed in 2007, but work didn’t start until 2013.

Critics do not yet consider it one of the best films of Christopher Nolan. Prestige deserves a place in the top five most representative works of a British director.
