We are here, Oppenheimer it’s finally out. New movie about Christopher Nolan, actually, this is one of the names of the year, both in signature and in theme. The project was announced in September 2021, along with the name of the main character, Cillian Murphy (one of Nolan’s fetish actors), and other details have been revealed over time, from the cast (which fits the definition of “star”) to the soundtrack, curated by Ludwig Göransson , to the technique: the film was shot on both IMAX 65mm film and widescreen 65mm film, which for the first time includes sections in analog IMAX black and white and black and white photography.
It goes without saying that once again Christopher Nolan himself wrote, directed and produced the film, which is therefore poised to challenge other directorial titles: films such as Tenet, Dunkirk, Interstellar, Beginning and The Dark Knight Trilogy grossed over $5 billion worldwide and received 11 Academy Awards and 36 nominations, including two for Best Picture.
