The singer Ciara, winner of a Grammy, she became the latest artist to postpone a concert due to the fast spread of the coronavirus.

Ciara, who is expecting a baby, had planned a presentation in Texas for march 19 during the grand opening of the new Fort Hood USE, but announced on Saturday the postponement of the show.
“Due to the continuous spread of the coronavirus in the united States and as a pregnant woman, my doctors I’ve been recommended that restricts the travel and congregations,” said Ciara in a statement. “I am disappointed not being able to return this month to the place where I was born, Fort Hood, Texas, and make the wonderful show we had planned.”

The grand opening of the new Fort Hood USE will take place in the summer and the concert will be rescheduled for later this year.
“I call on all of you to diligently take measures to stay healthy and safe,” said Ciara.
Ciara made her announcement a day after organizers of South by Southwest in Austin say they had canceled their annual festival of art and technology.

On Thursday, it was officially postponed the festival Ultra music electronic, initially planned from 20 to 22 march in Miami including David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, and other artists.
