Starting this week, before each screening on the big screen in Piazza Vittorio, a commercial about Esquilina will be programmed, a project created by DMO ES.CO with the support of the Lazio region, which talks about the area in its specificity with the aim of improving the area and making it an interesting tourist destination able to meet the needs of tourists and at the same time respect those who live there, with the knowledge that in the beauty of the areas of the historic center there are also people who experience it in many of its aspects.
On the other hand, in the two arenas of Cinevillage, at the opening of the evening, video tablets of the second series LA PRIMA DONNA CHE, produced by RAI with the archives of Rai Teche, in collaboration with the University of La Sapienza, were demonstrated. These are profiles of women who have lived fearlessly and with strength, discovering new paths, shedding prejudices and conquering roles in a society long associated with male dominance. The initiative, curated by Alessandra di Michele Bragadin, is a brief encounter with history, a pause for curiosity to meet, day by day, the women innovators who have proven themselves by leading the way.
Finally, we would like to inform you that the side events in the two arenas have been suspended this week and will resume on August 21st. In both places, however, there are always recreation areas: Vittorio Summer Village in Piazza Vittorio and Totem Bar in Monteverde. Every Monday in Piazza Vittorio from 18:00 to 22:30 also continues “I Lunedi del Gusto con le Cantine del Lazio” – an initiative created thanks to the support of ARSIAL in collaboration with ARS – the Association of Roman Sommeliers, which will allow those who buy a ticket to cinema on Monday, receive a voucher for a free tasting of Lazio wines, selected weekly.
