Governor Rutilio Escandón Cadenas stressed that as part of the government’s vision, official helicopters and aircraft will be permanently and exclusively dedicated to the concerns of the people of Chiapas. Over the past few hours, we have provided care to vulnerable people.
An air medical transport was initiated to care for a 10-month-old male patient diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia. The patient was hospitalized in Palenque and transferred with his family to the Tuxtla Gutierrez Pediatric Specialty Hospital for specialized care.
Likewise, we perform aeromedical transports for nursing patients who develop complications due to cardiac malformations at birth that require surgical intervention. He was transferred by air from Palenque to the Pediatric Specialty Hospital in Tuxtla Gutierrez for specialized treatment.
Similarly, we initiated air transport to care for a 40-year-old female patient suffering from renal complications following gynecological surgery. Sagrario “N” was admitted to the Juárez-Arriaga General Hospital and now receives specialized care at the “Jesús Gilberto Gómez Maza” General Hospital in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
In another operation, an interhospital airlift was conducted from the military hospital in Palenque to Tuxtla Gutierrez to treat an 87-year-old male patient suffering from complications from abdominal surgery. Air transport was initiated due to the risk of complications and deterioration in health of patients transported by land.
Within this framework, Luis Manuel García Moreno, Minister of Civil Defense of the Government of Chiapas, reported that 2,903 civil protection, security and health operations had been successfully carried out.
