POP ROCK IMAGINE DRAGONS IN ROME Only a few days left until the return to Italy of Imagine Dragons, one of the most loved by the international audience, is expected in Rome on August 5 for the only live performance in one of the most iconic places in our country: the Circus Maximus. Formed in Las Vegas in 2008 and consisting of Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee, and Daniel Platzman, the American musical group, formed in Las Vegas in 2008, will play several songs from Mercury’s latest double album, Acts 1 & 2, in the unusual setting of Capitoline, created by historian Rick Rubin . VERDENA SUMMER TOUR Returning to the spotlight after seven long years of silence, Verdena continue their tour of Italy, followed by a series of concerts. Antonello Venditti and Francesco de Gregori accompany us on this leap through time, united in an exciting tour that touches different corners of our country, from small towns to large cities. The two singer-songwriters, determined to “team up” and turn back the clock fifty years, will play their big hit together on August 21st at Tagliacozzo (in the province of L’Aquila) before moving on to the Greek Theater of Syracuse on August 24th and 26th. In the last days of the month, two artists will arrive in Taormina (August 28) and at the Teatro Valle dei Templi in Agrigento (August 30 for a show that promises to be unforgettable). THE RETURN OF FRANZ FERDINAND After a sale in Milan in November, Franz Ferdinand returned to Italy by popular demand with three new dates not to be missed. The first of these is the concert scheduled for August 31st in Lignano Sabbiadoro. At the Alpe Adria Arena in the municipality of Friuli, the Scottish band led by Alex Kapranos will perform some of the biggest hits of their first twenty years of activity.
