HERMOSILLO, Sonora.- Henry Clausen, secretary of health in Sonora, reported that this Friday the number of cases of Covid-19 in the state rose to 124 while the deaths are kept at 14.
Clausen explained that the new cases detected this Friday occurred in 4 women and 3 men who reside in San Luis Rio 3, Cajeme 2 and Etchojoa 1 and Hermosillo 1.
The official added that these patients are between 24 and 65 years of age and began symptoms between the first and the 11th of April.
Also, it was informed that none have a history of travel outside of the state so that evidence of community transmission of the virus, although all are isolated in their home and are moderate cases.
As to the 124 cases in the State are distributed as follows: San Luis Rio Colorado (52), Hermosillo (26), Huatabampo (14), Cajeme (9), Magdalena (4), Navojoa (4),Sáric(4), Caborca (4), Guaymas (2), Opodepe (2), Agua Prieta (1), Etchojoa (1) and Nogales (1).
Follow-up in San Luis Rio Colorado
To be one the municipality where they have registered higher number of cases, Henry Clausen announced that he will visit as the sanitary authority of that locality, as it also is where was the first loss inside the health personnel.

Clausen said that will be 20 next Monday when it will be for the border to follow up on the strategies doing.
“This next Monday I will be in San Luis Rio Colorado, will go to visit our fellow, in addition to follow-up actions on that border that have to do with the strategy stay at home mandatory”.
